Lampernisse is known as one of the most quiet villages in Flanders. At three kilometers from the city centre, in the middle of the polder landscape lies Bladelijn. This walled farm used to be the property of the Bladelin family (14th century) who were clerks and registars of the Veurne-Ambacht chancery, and is now a tastefully restored rural hotel. Bladelijn has ten spacious and cosy guest rooms with every modern comfort.
Bladelijn is ideal for people who enjoy nature and tranquility. Bladelijn is situated in the middle of the rich fauna and flora of a nature reserve, and it is also an appropriate starting point for walks and bicycle tours, since the coast is only 15 km away and the French border is nearby.
Horsemen can use the running meadows and fishing fanatics will find plenty of carps and eel. The farm welcomes children with a playground, small animals and popular games.
Bladelijn also stands for culture. A number of cultural-historic villages and towns lie within biking distance where there is plenty of accommodation for creative activities. Successfull conferences, a quiet retreat or an original family gathering can be held in the attractive hall, combined with an excellent cuisine and an intimate atmosphere. Farm-Hotel Bladelijn is open throughout the year.
